General Development Tips
 |
- Talk to your baby while looking into his or her eyes. Eye contact is very important for visual and psychological development.
- Keep your baby interested and developing by varying the environment, for example feed and change your baby from different sides to help your baby see light from different angles and to stimulate each eye.
- At birth a baby’s vision is not fully developed and s/he can only see about 20-30 cm (8 to 12 inches) – just the distance the baby needs to see the person holding him/her. Keep toys for the baby to reach and touch at this distance but make sure that they are large enough so your little one cannot swallow or choke on them.
