Dragons Den's Peter Jones says "The idea is brilliant"
27th Nov, 2007Yes! SuperBaby's founder faced the Dragons on BBC's hit series Dragons Den, on Monday, 26th of November 2007.
Peter Jones commented that he thought the idea was brilliant and that the products would definitely sell and would have invested had Susanne been seeking a smaller sum. He also congratulated her for coming up with a concept which is totally unique. Susanne took professional advice when valuing her business and has already attracted a potential investor looking to put up a substantial amount.
Despite not being able to cement an investment from any of the Dragons Susanne is motivated by the responses and comments that she received. Sales of the Music Scarf and Wristband are increasing weekly and new products are in the pipeline.
Since the Dragons Den interview end of summer, Yes! SuperBaby has not only been featured on ITV's This Morning as one of the best baby gadgets in the UK but has also signed up UK and European stockists.
Commenting on her experience in the Den, Susanne said “Overall I enjoyed presenting my own ideas to such experienced and respected entrepreneurs and whilst I was unable to secure the funding that I requested I came away full of confidence and motivated by some of the great comments, particularly from Peter Jones.”
