Winner of Good Toy Awards - Play Matters
28th Jul, 2009Yes! SuperBaby has won the prestigious Good Toy Awards 2009 for both the Miracle Scarf and Miracle Band.
Each year the National Association of Toy and Leisure Libraries asks children to test hundreds of new toys. The best ones get recommended each year and a publication called the Good Toy Guide is published online:
"As Parents, we are often confronted with lots of toys to choose from and no-one to help us to choose the right one for our child's particular stage and development. This is where the Good Toy Guide can offer you some help! All of the toys in this Guide are tested by children and the conclusion and comments come from the children. Watching the children and the pleasure they get from the toys they are playing with is how we know what to tell you about each product.
Over the years, the National Association of Toy and Leisure Libraries has developed a very good working relationship with the Toy Trade, who trust us to test their products in a fair and thorough way with the hundreds of children who use our toy libraries all over the UK. We hope that you find this guide useful when you are selecting toys for children in any setting - whether this be the toy library, a small or large group setting, a childminder's home, a playgroup, a school or an extended school club, but especially if you are looking for that special toy for that special child in your life!
We estimate that at least 250 families and as many as 600 children take part in out appraisal process. The most important point is - it is their opinions that matter!"
