The Music Scarf and Band help the child to learn from birth to become a confident learner based on its multi-sensory approach to interact with babies and toddlers and used as part of Role Play.
Yes! SuperBaby's products enhance the loving and secure relationship with key workers as the child can play in the arms of the key worker.
The products are ideal for a well-equipped baby room to support and extend children's development and learning. Each product has attachment features to add other existing toys or soft books depending on the child's interest.
All areas of learning are interconnected - that's why Yes! SuperBaby's holistic approach recognizes that young children learn best when they are happy as they gain psychological and emotional comfort from "snuggling in" with a key worker and having fun together.

Yes! SuperBaby products encourage the EYFS themes and principles not only by exciting and motivating the child but also by encouraging them to interact more fully with the adults around them.
The products will assist in the development of the individual and improve their ability to maintain sustained periods of concentration. They can also be used to develop and extend the child’s vocabulary, co-ordination and control.
In fact the Yes! SuperBaby Miracle Scarf and Miracle Band both support many of the purposes and aims of the Early Years Foundation Stage which is divided into six areas:
This deals with respect, social skills and self image. Providers need to support the child’s emotional development and provide opportunities to extend this wherever possible. Children can be encouraged by using the Miracle Scarf to bond more fully with adults and develop stronger relationships by developing their concentration and becoming motivated by the various sounds and textures of the product. The tactile nature of the product will provide a warm and cosy feeling which will help with this process.
Speaking, listening, starting reading and writing. Being read to is one way in which nurseries can help develop the child’s love of words and books.
Contact with the scarf and band will encourage the development of language and also help listening skills as the child enjoys the sounds and feel. Children will enjoy the experience. Parents and providers may want to use the scarf and band as an inspiration for story telling, songs and rhyme using the characters as a starting point. e.g. sing a fishy song, or sing to the tune e.g. twinkle twinkle little star.
A better understanding of number patterns, relationships, counting, sorting of shapes, spaces and measures. Children need to be able to enjoy what they are doing and practise what they are taught.
Using the toys attached as a starting point both the scarf and the band can be used to develop talk about shape and number. e.g. Let’s count the number of toys on the band? How many colours can you see? Sing some number songs. e.g. five little speckled frogs sat on a speckled log, one man went to mow.
Making sense of the word we live in. Exploring people, plants, creatures and objects in their natural settings. Nurseries can help with practical experiments and work with different materials.
Use the scarf and band as a starting point for further investigation of the world around the child. Talk about the fish. Go and look at some fish in the local pet shop or in your own fish tank. Talk about the way they move and the patterns they make in the water. Remember talking with the young child is very important. Sing some songs which explore the world around the child e.g the wheels on the bus go round and round.
Encouraging and developing skills of coordination, manipulation and movement. Children need to understand the importance of all types of physical activity. Nurseries can also encourage young children to make decisions about healthier food.
Play with the scarf and band. Throw the band in the air, let the child catch it. Get them to stretch out and reach for it. Let the scarf and band become an intergral part of crawling or moving around.
Children should extend their curiosity through exploring and playing. They should be able to share their ideas and feelings through art, music, role play and dance.
Ask questions about the sounds and noises when you press or touch the toys – toddlers like to use them as phone. Involve them in a dance that uses the scarf or band. Dance along to Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Pretend that it is very cold and that they need to wrap up using the scarf.
Sing a song or rhyme linked to the weather. e.g. Incy Wincy Spider.
